For the past several years, the PCFA has held a mentoring dinner for the UCLA residents with a “speed dating” program designed to acquaint the residents with supervisors and mentors in the local psychiatric community. While this event is usually done in person, given the current restrictions, we will host the event over Zoom! After a short introduction by the faculty members, each resident will have an opportunity to “rotate” with individual faculty members in Zoom break-out rooms for about five minutes to get to know each other and discuss their interests. After 5 minutes, the residents will rotate to the next break-out room. These sessions will repeat until all of the residents have had facetime with all of the faculty members.

The event is open to all residents. The R2s and R3s will be looking for RPC supervisors. Other residents will be looking for mentors and networking opportunities.
